Supply Chain Analytics Manager

Objective
This position is responsible for overseeing inventory precision and conducting advanced analytics and statistical modeling on extensive data sets to enhance supply chain operational workflows, minimize expenses, and boost efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implements strategies designed to enhance organizational capabilities and align with business goals.
- Gathers data and conducts analyses to forecast demand and assess inventory requirements.
- Utilizes Excel for data processing from diverse sources.
- Collaborates with management to identify and execute efficiency or performance enhancements.
- Collects and interprets pertinent data (costs, productivity, demand trends, etc.).
- Diagnoses issues, identifies root causes, and formulates solutions.
- Creates regular performance reports and disseminates them to relevant stakeholders.
- Tracks performance KPIs for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Provides analytical support for projects, new business ventures, and proposals.
- Coordinates the updating of daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and scorecards.
- Manipulates and extrapolates supply chain data.
- Takes charge of identifying and monitoring resource utilization.
- Evaluates and recommends inventory reorder points for shortages, surpluses, or other challenges.
- Maintains weekly and ad-hoc reporting to ensure the accuracy of inventory, costs, destinations, or other customer requirements.
- Partners with other supply chain team members and leadership to troubleshoot issues and devise solutions for maintaining an efficient supply chain.
- Assumes responsibility for managing multiple functions within the logistics domain, ensuring compliance with organizational regulations, including oversight of audit processes related to financial performance.
- Leads multiple logistics teams in personnel management, encompassing annual performance evaluations, departmental staffing, employee discipline, and morale.
- Supervises other managers or team leaders.
- Drives the identification, facilitation, and implementation of enhancements to methods, procedures, and standards to elevate the quality of logistics outputs.
- Proposes or manages organizational changes within the logistics function as necessary.
- Defines training needs for logistics teams and monitors training progress using a skills matrix to ensure teams are cross-trained for flexibility based on business and functional requirements.
- Champions the aspirations of team members within the organization.
