Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Axplora. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products for customers in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the progress of projects in accordance with budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Define the project implementation plan, including activities, milestones, and costs.
  • Manage project teams and monitor deadlines, quality, and costs.
  • Ensure risk management and solve problems.
  • Establish project reporting and compile dashboards for analysis.
  • Lead project reviews in the monitoring committee.
  • Develop technical offers for customers with the project team and consolidate offers in collaboration with Sales/Marketing.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process on project management methods.
  • Establish and supervise external contacts, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Graduated with an engineering degree in chemistry/pharmacy or chemical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of successful operational experience in industry (fine chemicals or life sciences) in project management.
  • Dynamic, creative, and concerned about customers and achievement of ambitious goals.
  • Proactive in defining means to achieve objectives.
  • Good interpersonal skills and recognized communication skills.
  • Fluent English and fluency in German is a plus.
