Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Axplora. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products for customers in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the progress of projects in accordance with budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Define the project implementation plan, including activities, milestones, and costs.
  • Manage project teams and monitor deadlines, quality, and costs.
  • Ensure risk management and problem-solving.
  • Establish project reporting, including dashboards and analysis.
  • Lead project reviews in the monitoring committee.
  • Develop technical offers for customers with the project team and consolidate offers in collaboration with Sales/Marketing.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process on project management methods.
  • Establish and supervise external contacts, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain fluent and proactive communication with customers.

Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual with a strong background in project management. You should have a degree in engineering, ideally in chemistry/pharmacy or chemical engineering, and at least 5 years of operational experience in industry (fine chemicals or life sciences). Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
