Position: Surgical Care Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Care Unit Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical care unit, delivering high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all paramedical activities within the surgical care unit, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of healthcare professionals, setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Manage unit operations effectively, ensuring the seamless delivery of services, resource allocation, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative projects within your area of expertise, contributing to the continuous improvement of surgical care processes.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a Degree in Nursing
  • Healthcare Management Diploma, Master's Degree, or extensive experience as a nurse with aspirations for leadership roles.
  • Valid registration with the Nursing Council.
  • Prior experience in Surgical Services is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successful team management and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage service projects.
