Role Overview
The Global Solution Architect will play a key role in driving strategic consulting efforts within the North American (NAM) region. This individual will collaborate with customer accounts and Dassault Systèmes' internal ecosystem to develop strategic roadmaps for DS solutions and process experiences, enabling customers to achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define integrated global solutions that enable customers to execute their business strategies by providing coverage of their whole business processes with expected business value, while maintaining the final workability and relevancy of the solution.
- Contribute to the customer's business objectives achievement leveraging the 3DEXPERIENCE platform according to the industry business challenge of the customer.
- Assess customer opportunities in regards of feasibility, value, and risks.
- Assist business consultants to identify and capture customer business values.
- Challenge customer business processes in regard of value creation and business transformation.
- Manage the relationship with extended DS' organizations (R&D, Services, etc.) in the context of strategic customer relationships.
- Define or review global solution architecture leveraging 3DS know-how to support customer business objectives, highlighting committed value, and taking extra care of feasibility and delivery effort.
- Define best practices in context of solution architecture for re-use across multiple customer engagements.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience of global solution architecture for PLM or similar enterprise solutions with emphasis on system architecture and system design.
- Enterprise solution deployment, services, and consulting experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or any large enterprise PLM software.
- Experience in popular Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (like TOGAF) and architecture capture tools like CAMEO, Rhapsody.
- Business transformation engagement experience with customers.
- Business process knowledge in multiple domains like system engineering, design/engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, program management, after-market, etc.
- Deep knowledge in industry standards & business processes across multiple industry sectors (automotive, high-tech, life sciences, aerospace, etc.).
- Experience working within a software project delivery lifecycle, including both on-premise and SaaS Cloud solutions.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with high consultative and problem-solving skills.
- Rapid adoption of new knowledge, practices, tools, and processes.
- Able and available to travel up to 50%.
