As a Data Protection and Compliance Officer at Worldline, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's compliance with data protection regulations and laws. Your expertise will help us maintain a strong reputation and trust with our customers.
The Opportunity
Our Cloud Services Business Unit requires a skilled professional to define, implement, and promote consistent compliance standards and frameworks within the organization. You will assess and monitor the effectiveness of compliance risks and control environments, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
Data Protection Responsibilities (70%)
- Perform data protection activities within the Cloud Services organization.
- Provide guidance on data protection and GDPR requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with the group DPO and DPO community.
- Develop and deliver training on data protection.
- Evaluate and improve data protection controls.
Compliance Responsibilities (30%)
- Evaluate European laws and regulations in our technical environment.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Provide guidance on ethics and anti-corruption.
- Evaluate and improve compliance controls.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Oversee corrective actions from internal audits.
Requirements
- University degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance/law/risk.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Technical knowledge of cloud services is a plus.
- Good knowledge of legislation, ethics, anti-corruption, and data protection practices.
- Experience in conducting risk-based audits and controls.
- Partnership with technical teams.
- Experience in managing controls in systems that collect and process personal data.
