We are seeking a highly skilled People Consultant to join our team in France. As a key member of our People Advisory team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on local labour law and HR policies to our business leaders and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Manage local, legal, and regulatory query management, ensuring compliance with French labour law.
- Partner with local markets to provide local labour law and HR policy knowledge, supporting employee relations cases.
- Individual case management for complex employee relation cases, including long-term sickness and exits.
- Provide local language support for HR queries and handle local employment-related documentation.
- Collaborate with the Employee Relations & People Consultant team to provide local Labour law and manage Works Council engagements in France.
- Improve the services provided by People Advisory, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of local labour law (France) and its complexities.
- Command of English and French language.
- Experience in handling difficult cases and situations, including performance interviews and disciplinary action.
- Ability to encourage and facilitate transversality and knowledge sharing across teams and with other partners.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Identify different sources and opportunities to acquire and apply new skills, ensuring knowledge is up-to-date in the project/department.
- Ability to educate team members in adopting an iterative solution approach.
- Identify and take advantage of business opportunities, providing guidelines for the department to recover quickly after setbacks.
- Advocate alternative ideas with colleagues and partners.
- Find solutions and create value propositions.
- Ability to create clear communication materials to convey technical concepts in a user-friendly and engaging way.
- Manage progress of projects, making final decisions about priorities, timing, and resources.
