About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled People & Culture Lead to join our team in France. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the people and culture agenda in France, working closely with our team based in France and other international locations.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our business stakeholders, ensuring that our HR processes and policies are aligned with our business strategy. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end strategies to support the business in a sustainable way, assessing the people and culture implications of our business strategy and designing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 HR professionals in France, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor, in a post-M&A context, aligning and harmonizing HR processes and policies.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee experience and engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as performance management, career development, and recognition initiatives.
  • Advise and coach people leaders and staff on employee relations topics.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture peers and experts across other countries on programs and initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted contact person for the Works Council (CSE).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 years of relevant People & Culture (HR) experience, including experience in people management, preferably in a global organization, including experience with employee representative bodies and knowledge of French labor and employment law.
  • Able to work in a matrix and virtual team environment, supporting multiple locations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, ability to maintain and build relationships with all employees, including Senior Management.
  • Experience with managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation programs with a global scope.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in French and English.
  • Able to negotiate, even in challenging situations, and steer discussions to a desired end.
  • Autonomy and a can-do attitude, solution-finder rather than solely problem raiser.
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in law, business, psychology, or related field.
  • If you have M&A experience, that's a plus (though not mandatory).
