Job Responsibilities- The individual will be tasked with the upkeep of designated public spaces, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating punctuality and a friendly attitude.
- Adhere to special instructions and requests as communicated by the Supervisor.
- Prepare all essential cleaning tools, including dusters and sanitizing agents, for your service cart.
- Organize your cleaning cart effectively, ensuring it is presentable in public view.
- Oversee the closing procedures of service areas at the end of the day, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly and safely.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas, including dining outlets, offices, hallways, and surrounding spaces.
- At the conclusion of your shift, relay all pertinent information to the incoming shift or Supervisor to ensure seamless operations.
- Uphold a consistent standard of punctuality and professionalism.
- Strictly adhere to the Lost and Found protocol.
- Stay informed about daily hotel activities and possess comprehensive knowledge of all resort amenities.
- Regularly empty trash bins in the lobby, concierge area, and public restrooms.
- Ensure all mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows are cleaned; maintain all vents and restock paper supplies in restrooms and storage areas; wipe down marble surfaces and dust all areas; keep brass fixtures polished.
- Follow the established procedures for signing in and out of keys.
- Vacuum carpets as necessary, including rugs in service areas.
- Report any maintenance issues to the engineering team promptly.
- Dust all upholstered furnishings.
- Wipe down baseboards as required.
- Execute all tasks with appropriate safety measures in mind.
- Immediately inform your Supervisor of any damaged equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas at all times.
- Adhere to the Lost and Found procedures, ensuring any found items are reported to your Supervisor for proper documentation.
- Care for all indoor plants by removing any litter.
- Comply with the resort's health, safety, hygiene, and fire policies.
- Stay informed about daily hotel activities and maintain knowledge of all resort facilities.
- Participate in training sessions provided by Housekeeping and Human Resources.
- Report necessary maintenance items promptly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Experience in a five-star establishment is desirable.
- Must be dynamic, energetic, and able to perform well under pressure.
