Aqemia is a next-generation pharmatech company rapidly developing one of the world's fastest-growing drug discovery pipelines. Our mission is to design innovative drug candidates for critical diseases, such as immuno-oncology. Leveraging quantum-inspired physics algorithms and generative AI, we power novel drug candidate designs without relying on experimental data. We have achieved several drug discovery successes within our internal pipeline and through collaborations with pharmaceutical companies. Our most advanced programs are currently in vivo optimization.
We are seeking an experienced Executive Talent Acquisition Lead to join our growing team at Aqemia. This unique opportunity enables you to be part of a foundational phase as we establish a dedicated internal Talent Acquisition team to support our ambitious growth plans for 2025.
In this role, you will work closely with Nicolas, our experienced Head of Talent Acquisition, and collaborate directly with managers across the organization. You will play a crucial part in scaling Aqemia by hiring top-tier talent across various niche scientific roles, contributing to the establishment of our core recruitment strategies and processes. Beyond operational delivery, you will act as an ambassador for Aqemia, ensuring a world-class candidate experience and promoting our mission and values across the Techbio sector.
Responsibilities- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Talent Sourcing & Engagement: Build and maintain a dynamic talent pipeline.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers on recruitment needs and practices.
- Agency Coordination: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies to meet hiring goals.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition across different geographies, with a track record of hiring for niche scientific roles, preferably within the Techbio, biotech, or deep-tech sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of market knowledge and requirements, with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Strategic Sourcing: Expertise in proactive sourcing strategies and pipeline management for highly specialized talent.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to thrive in a written culture, where clear and structured documentation is essential for communication and collaboration.
- Data & Analytics: Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Organization & Prioritization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
Aqemia offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and performance. The estimated annual salary range accounts for the title, job description, and central Paris location. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation support and French lessons if needed, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the direction of our fast-growing company and team.
