Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Computer Architect Product Line professional to join our Avionics Products Development department based in France.
You will be part of a team of approximately 15 people based in Toulouse, France, within the Avionics & Simulation Domain that is responsible for developing and maintaining Avionics equipment and providing expertise for this perimeter.
The current context involves the development of several brand new computers based on product lines strategy, utilizing hardware and software bricks, while supporting existing avionics products and preparing for future avionic products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Challenging specifications to meet needs and product line capabilities;
- Defining and negotiating compliance levels with product requirements;
- Defining product requirements, including performance, safety, quality, industrial, and environmental aspects;
- Animating trade-offs to select the best architecture with HW and SW architects;
- Allocating product requirements to HW, SW, and means (e.g., test, production);
- Following up on product maturity throughout development and contributing to V&V prioritization activities and anomaly correction;
- Contributing to safety network analysis and demonstration for certification;
This role requires a strong background in electronic devices at equipment or system level, with experience in both hardware and software development, including FPGA, microprocessors, electronics boards, and embedded critical software.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of aeronautical stakes, such as safety, reliability, value for customers, and certification standards (e.g., ARP4754, ARP5761, DO178, DO254, DO160).
Key Qualifications:
- Strong experience in electronic devices at equipment or system level;
- Experience in development of FPGA, microprocessors, electronics boards, and embedded critical software;
- Good understanding of aeronautical stakes;
- Good analysis and synthesis skills;
- Good communication, negotiation, and lead skills;
- A negotiation level of French and English is required.
Salary Range: 55 to 65K€/year (including a variable part based on performance). Information provided as an indication.
