Job Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including all equipment and surfaces. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Washing and storing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Ensuring waste is disposed of promptly and appropriately.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • General cleaning of all kitchen common areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Making sure work surfaces, dishwashing machines, floors, and staff canteen are always clean and sanitised.
  • Ensuring that the food preparation sites are clean.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter in a Hotel environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Understanding and compliance with food hygiene regulations.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work as per business needs.
