Job Overview
As a pivotal figure in our organization, the Procurement Transformation Officer is tasked with enhancing our vendor risk management framework. This role demands a strong focus on delivering results while possessing a keen interest in both procedural and technological aspects of third-party management. You will be instrumental in comprehending operational workflows, particularly those related to regulatory standards such as Solvency II and DORA, which are essential for effective vendor risk oversight.
Organizational Context
You will be integrated within the Group Procurement division, which is dedicated to boosting AXA Group's competitive edge by refining the complete Procurement cycle for external expenditures (excluding Insurance procurement). Our division operates with a dual mandate:
As a corporate function, we:
· Utilize our purchasing power through global agreements and strategic supplier relationship management.
· Establish and disseminate vendor risk frameworks and outsourcing policies.
· Provide and oversee global Procurement tools.
· Promote responsible Procurement practices across AXA.
· Foster engagement within the Procurement community.
As a Group Operations support function, we:
· Enhance external spending by managing categories and suppliers while aligning with AXA GO strategy.
· Implement vendor risk frameworks and policies within AXA GO.
· Develop and utilize both local and global Procurement tools.
· Advance responsible Procurement initiatives at AXA GO.

Departmental Role
The Procurement Performance department is accountable for:
· Strategically managing our global and multi-country vendors to maximize value for AXA and leverage our scale.
· Formulating short, medium, and long-term Category Strategies and demand management in collaboration with business stakeholders across AXA entities.
· Advancing the Procurement sustainability strategy to align with AXA Group's ambitions.
· Supporting innovation by harnessing the expertise and creativity of our current and prospective vendors, enhancing AXA's appeal to them.
· Establishing a secure vendor ecosystem through the creation of a vendor risk framework and focusing on key areas such as outsourcing and vendor management.
· Providing global platforms for the Procurement function, including contract repositories and third-party risk management systems.
· Leading M&A Procurement practices to ensure seamless Procurement activities related to acquisitions and divestitures across the Group.
The Procurement Transformation Officer will be an integral part of the Procurement Performance team.
Role Purpose
The Procurement function must tackle critical challenges that align with AXA's strategic objectives: Efficiency, Transformation, Risk Management, and Compliance.
The primary responsibility of the Procurement Transformation Officer is to autonomously oversee the annual revision of group guidelines concerning vendor risk management and ensure their effective implementation across various entities. This will involve deploying tools and processes that support outsourcing and contract management, ultimately enhancing procurement efficiency and vendor insight.
Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders will be essential, requiring strong influencing skills and the ability to engage with diverse teams across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Transformation Officer will be tasked with:
· Leading cross-functional projects related to vendor risk management and outsourcing.
· Collecting and analyzing requirements from various stakeholders to provide them with appropriate processes and tools.
· Collaborating with stakeholders to formalize associated guidelines.
· Developing an annual roadmap and prioritizing features for development.
· Participating in the deployment of processes and tools.
· Contributing to the structuring of the Procurement data model, both current and future states, and engaging in initiatives to enhance data quality.
· Managing communications with AXA stakeholders and the broader community.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience and Skills
We seek a candidate with the following qualifications:
Experience
· A graduate with 5-7+ years of professional experience in similar roles.
· Experience in an international context and the ability to navigate a multicultural environment.
· A proven history of designing and implementing operational models for large organizations.
Technical Skills
· Certification in IT project/program management (agile and/or standard methodologies).
· Familiarity with procurement practices and related tools (Coupa, Salesforce, and risk management solutions).
· Strong analytical capabilities.
· Understanding of functional architecture topics, including interfacing capabilities.
· Preferred: experience in implementing tools for large organizations.
Soft Skills
· Proactive, autonomous, and organized with a strong focus on execution.
· Results-oriented mindset.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior management.
· Strong listening skills and adaptability, as the scope of work may shift based on demands and priorities.
· Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
