Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Serve as the main point of contact on-site for all events, collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including product launches and brand activations.
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end event project management, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. Coordinate logistics, vendors, and resources effectively.
  • Vendor Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with event vendors and partners to secure the best services and pricing. Negotiate contracts & pricing as needed.
  • Manage creative execution of events, including creation of branded collateral, décor & on-site setup.
  • Brainstorm & source creative activations, vendors & activities for events.
  • Seek out & facilitate collaboration with like-minded brands for event collaboration & gifting opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate guest lists & invitations.
  • Management: Manage 1-2 interns.
Requirements:
  • Work out of tarte's Paris office.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant event planning/management experience, ideally with a background in agency, wedding, or event planning.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management & timeline adherence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to every detail, from event design and decor to guest experience, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, adapting seamlessly to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering high-quality events on time and within budget.
  • Be adaptable and resourceful, finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges that may arise during events.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently & take initiative to problem solve.
  • Frequent travel & evening/weekend responsibilities during events.
