We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mission Management Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our Situational Awareness and Mission Management department, you will be responsible for designing and integrating mission management systems for our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement operational concepts and use cases for Mission Management Systems / Digital Map
- Technical responsible for Mission Management Systems / Digital Map integration
- Requirements engineering
- Ensure planning at equipment and helicopter level for development and qualification
- Assess suppliers' offers with other stakeholders
- Interface with project management, purchasing, sales department and other project stakeholders throughout the organization
- Interface with / management of suppliers and customers
- Manage suppliers during development phase
- Support rig, ground and flight testing of the equipment
- Ensure the qualification / certification of equipment and the according functions
- Apply of agile development methodology
- Participate in offer management and contributing to product sourcing policy
- Benchmark our solutions with state of the art Mission Management Systems / Digital Map ones
- Actively contribute to definition and execution of research and technology (R&T) activities and mission systems product strategy
- Supporting knowledge exchange within Airbus (all divisions)
- Academic studies in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Comprehensive experience in the design, development, engineering and/or integration of mission management systems for aircraft
- Knowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics
- Knowledge or previous experience of mission management system would be advantage
- A previous experience with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) would be beneficial
- Experience in Supplier Management
- Team Spirit, good communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Language skills: English business fluent / negotiation level, knowledge of German, French or Spanish would be an advantage
