Job Title: Flexible Pipeline Engineer

TechnipFMC is a global leader in the energy industry, committed to driving real change through relentless innovation and global collaboration. We are seeking a talented Flexible Pipeline Engineer to join our multicultural team in Paris.

Job Purpose:

We deliver critical projects of a scale, scope, and difficulty that are unmatched in the industry. As a Flexible Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the entire flexible system solution, including pipe cross-section definition and subsea pipeline ancillaries' equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and identify main and critical design parameters
  • Classify required design tools and parameters
  • Write technical reports linked to performed studies
  • Seek support from R&D department or challenge them for proposed design optimization
  • Review design reports and technical analysis from other team members
  • Prepare required documentation for flexible pipe and ancillaries equipment manufacturing
  • Respond clearly to internal and external clients
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or hydrodynamic engineering
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Familiar with Office Pack and Excel, with good notions of VBA or Python programming
  • Autonomous and organized, with leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Continuous improvement, innovative, solution-oriented, and able to solve complex problems
