Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Optimizer to join our team at Sun Chemical. As a key member of the Production Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience working in a chemical industry environment. You will be responsible for monitoring production schedules, managing continuous improvement projects, and optimizing process performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Monitoring Management
  • Ensure compliance with work procedures and monitor production progress in real-time.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Initiate and manage facilities and investment projects within budget constraints.
    • Define needs and develop investment plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Lead and monitor projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
    • Process Improvement and Optimization
    • Identify and address daily deviations, and implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and maintain production documentation and educate production operators on best practices.
    • Associate process operations with EHS rules and identify opportunities for process optimization.
    • Collaborate with the production manager to optimize production strategy.
    • Product Performance and Follow-up
    • Track production performance, yields, and cycle times using SAP data.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure process effectiveness.
    • Participate in production planning and continuous improvement initiatives (OPEX).
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a chemical industry environment.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP and/or OSI-PI software.
    • Fluent English language skills.
    • Rigor, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential for success in this role.
    What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
