Position Overview:
The selected candidate will report directly to the Sales Director and will be tasked with driving sales initiatives for our comprehensive range of products in the North-West region of France. This role encompasses the full sales cycle and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with our existing clientele through consistent and thorough follow-ups.
- Identify new business opportunities and relay essential information to our manufacturing teams for bid preparation, including specifications and technical data.
- Develop a proactive strategy to acquire new accounts, targeting manufacturers, end-users, and engineering firms.
- Independently organize site visits and schedule appointments.
- Provide tailored technical advice to customers based on their specific requirements.
- Collaborate with our factories in Switzerland and Germany to oversee the sales process, including costing, invoicing, and order tracking.
- Assist in ensuring smooth commissioning of equipment.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the technical implementation phase.
- Regularly report progress and updates to management.
- Participate in promotional and marketing activities, including trade shows and direct mail campaigns.
Qualifications:
A dual background in technical fields, particularly in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, or control systems, combined with commercial acumen is essential.
Experience:
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in the plastics industry, specifically in:
- Manufacturing environments involving single or twin screw extruders.
- Peripheral equipment manufacturing, such as dosing systems or extrusion dies.
- Competitive firms within the industry.
- Client organizations in the polymer sector.
We are also open to considering candidates with relevant commercial experience in other industrial equipment sales.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong team spirit, capable of building and maintaining both internal and external networks. Key qualities include:
