Cybersecurity Business Development Manager Paris

Proofpoint is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Sales Professional to drive new cyber security business across various vertical markets within an assigned account set of approximately 15 strategic accounts. This role will involve establishing strong relationships at the executive level, developing advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, and successfully closing business for Proofpoint.
Daily Responsibilities
Pursue new and existing accounts, generate interest, qualify, cultivate relationships, and develop and close new business opportunities. Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, working with partners and internal teams to best serve customers. Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into assigned accounts. Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Proofpoint products and services.
Skills and Qualifications
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets within the cybersecurity or IT infrastructure marketplace. Ability to articulate a large portfolio of products, solutions, and services. Business acumen to understand the cyber security threat landscape and become the trusted advisor of the CISO. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint's value. Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Fluency in English is required, with fluency in French also desired.
