Michael Page (France) is representing a prominent industrial organization in the region. In response to the company's expansion and the need to enhance logistics and cross-docking operations, a new opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager of Transport and Logistics.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will take charge of managing logistics functions across the Northern region of France, which includes overseeing port platforms and logistics centers.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:
  • Leading teams and managing the operational facets of multiple sites,
  • Restructuring the current organization to elevate customer service standards,
  • Streamlining traffic operations in alignment with business requirements and the overarching Transport and Logistics strategy of the Group,
  • Monitoring and refining inventory levels through both quantitative and qualitative assessments,
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory issues in collaboration with the Group's Regulatory Affairs Officer,
  • Coordinating with port operators,
  • Establishing and tracking essential performance metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in logistics or transport, with substantial experience in the sector.

You should have a proven track record in managerial roles within transport and logistics, ideally in an industrial context. Your ability to structure projects, facilitate transitions, and nurture team development will be crucial.
