Lead Arkema's Digital Financial Transformation

As Global Digital Transactional Finance Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Arkema's financial future by driving the integration of cutting-edge technology into our core finance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely closure of all SAP systems used to generate statutory and consolidated financial statements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the IT department to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our financial data systems.
  • Champion a seamless integration between financial domains, operational streams, and major IT projects impacting finance processes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting a continuous technological watch to identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting enhancements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of regional finance managers, ensuring alignment with global priorities and regional initiatives.
  • Proactively identify potential enhancements to finance/business processes, driving efficiency and accuracy within our Shared Service Center (SSC).
  • Provide expert guidance on integrating newly acquired businesses into Arkema's systems, processes, and organizational structure.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Consolidation VP to ensure appropriate staffing levels across the finance team.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global work plan, outlining strategic priorities and initiatives, in close collaboration with iTeam, Operations BPO, and regional Finance Officers.
  • Continuously monitor workload and staffing needs, adapting the work plan to evolving priorities.
  • Maintain open communication with the financial community regarding new projects, functionalities, and tools.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and expertise within the finance team through active communication and collaboration.
  • Promote Arkema's Finance Target Operating Model, ensuring alignment across all finance functions.
  • Develop and deliver global e-training programs to enhance end-user knowledge and proficiency.
  • Continuously refine and maintain finance processes to align with Arkema's organizational structure and ensure compliance with Group SOD risk policy.
  • Act as a guardian of our Finance CORE Model, ensuring its integrity during projects and daily operations.
  • Lead the seamless integration of new entities into Arkema's finance ecosystem through acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and product tree evolution.
  • Proactively anticipate regulatory changes impacting finance processes and implement necessary actions in collaboration with stakeholders and iTeam to ensure compliance.
