Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Senior Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. This role will provide critical support to our Budget Manager and Finance Manager, focusing on data analysis, financial planning, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial management support to assigned Budget Manager and Finance Manager, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, informing business decisions and driving growth.
  • Collaborate with Senior Finance Analyst on special projects, leveraging expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Design, test, and implement financial procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide coverage for Finance Team Members as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in an Accounting program.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and MS Access.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
