Role Overview:The IT Business Partner will play a crucial role in the Global Digital & IT (GDIT) business partnership, focusing on the digital, compliance, and business ethics sectors. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the GDIT roadmap is effectively delivered and that a high standard of service and support is maintained for the application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for the digital, compliance, and business ethics domains, ensuring that GDIT meets or surpasses business expectations for IT services.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and execute a technology roadmap that unlocks business value within the designated domain, presenting this roadmap to leadership teams using business terminology.
- Demand Management: Understand business IT requirements, develop business cases, and assess the urgency of business needs, shaping the roadmap and demand within the global digital, compliance, and business ethics domains.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in preparing new project requests, translating business needs into comprehensible terms for technology professionals, and educating stakeholders on industry market trends and emerging technologies.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and external partners on behalf of the business, continually measuring satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement in the application portfolio.
Candidates should possess 10 to 15 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar Business Partnering role, with proven expertise in conducting business analysis and understanding business requirements, particularly in digital contexts. A deep understanding of digital and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry is essential, along with experience in facilitating change management related to business processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to effectively convey complex business requirements to technology teams.
