Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Child and Family Support Specialist to join our team in the South Territory. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding children and families towards stability and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support and guidance to children and families experiencing difficulties.
- Ensure the safety, health, education, and social development of children within our care.
- Facilitate access to essential community resources and services tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Possess a State Diploma in Special Education or a recognized Social Service Assistant certification.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Have a strong understanding of child protection principles and family law regulations.
