Oversee the safety and security of guests, employees, and the property. Work 80 hours bi-weekly, with a 12-hour shift schedule. Investigate and document any incidents, including violations and accidents. Conduct regular patrols and ensure effective crowd management. Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities in a courteous manner. Report significant incidents to executive management promptly. Implement emergency protocols and collaborate with leadership on crisis management. Maintain and audit Business Continuity Plan (BCP) documentation. Adhere to corporate safety and security guidelines. Serve as the primary contact for emergency services. Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems diligently. Collaborate with the Engineering team on fire safety systems. Manage key audits and allocation processes. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to safety discussions. Promote safe work practices and assist in colleague training. Facilitate security training for new employees. Ensure safety during events and functions hosted at the property. Conduct inspections of employee belongings as necessary. Assist with comprehensive security audits. Manage access protocols for various areas of the property. Identify and rectify safety hazards proactively. Perform additional duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years in Security or Loss Prevention. Supervisory or management experience is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Must possess a valid security worker license. Occupational First Aid Level II certification preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of security operating systems and inspection protocols. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Visa Requirements:
