As a Security Supervisor at Accor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff. Your duties will include:
- Establishing a chain of command and responsibility within the security team.
- Performing duties according to the duty roster prepared by the Security Manager.
- Adopting a service-oriented approach to discharging duties and promoting a harmonious working relationship with the hotel's hospitality concept.
- Ensuring the overall performance of on-duty security personnel and addressing security-related matters.
- Exercising flexibility to maintain a balance between effectiveness and unobstructiveness.
- Acting as a host and welcoming guests, offering assistance, and leading guests when necessary.
- Informing and selling hotel facilities to visitors.
- Inspecting and briefing charges before deployment to ensure they are neat and tidy.
- Enforcing discipline and reporting incidents of indiscipline.
- Conducting regular checks on field officers to ensure they are alert and discharging duties efficiently.
- Conducting investigations and preparing reports on cases involving criminal acts, losses, or accidents.
- Protecting and preserving the integrity of the department by monitoring officers' conduct and taking appropriate action.
- Surveilling hotel staff to ensure they abide by house rules and keeping track of suspect staff movements.
- Cultivating informers to obtain security-related information.
- Maintaining peace and order within the hotel premises.
- Participating in special functions and operations.
- Keeping the Security Manager informed on security matters.
- Taking charge of equipment and inspecting them to ensure they are in working order.
- Conducting regular checks on equipment and taking follow-up action to rectify faults.
- Routine day-to-day checks of security items to ensure they are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Preparing meal rosters for individual shifts.
- Reflecting departmental activities in the Daily Security Report.
- Attending briefing sessions and approval courses.
- Attending meetings and in-service training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel with at least 1 year at a supervisory role.
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
