We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our P&C Business Risk Management team. As the Head of P&C Business Risk Management, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our P&C underwriting and claims handling activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks to ensure the identification, assessment, and mitigation of P&C risks.
- Contribute to the development of P&C systemic risk models and risk appetite frameworks.
- Review and approve standards and policies for insurance, assumed reinsurance, and ceded reinsurance.
- Ensure a second line of defense with second opinions on P&C strategic plans, CEO dialogues, and underwriting referrals.
- Steer standards and policies breaches identification and remediation.
- Promote a P&C risk management culture throughout the AXA Group.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in P&C business operations, including underwriting, pricing, claims, and reinsurance. You should have a thorough understanding of business insurance rationale, processes, profitability levers, and risk management.
You should also possess strong strategic vision, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a network with tight deadlines and team spirit. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deliver high-level presentations to senior management or entity CEOs.
