Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join our team in Neuilly-sur-Seine. As a PMO Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving successful project management practices within Sephora. Your primary responsibility will be to provide project teams with coordination, recommendations, and oversight to ensure that projects align with Sephora's strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management Governance: Develop and maintain project management follow-up, methodologies, and standards. Ensure that projects follow established guidelines, and that decisions are correctly cascaded to project teams.
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Gather KPIs, consolidate data, monitor task progress, and provide support on potential bottlenecks or delays. Challenge teams and implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.
- Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning across various projects. Monitor resource utilization and work with project managers to optimize resource allocation.
- Reporting, Performance Analysis, and SteerCo Organization: Update governance and key stakeholders by preparing regular status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and executives. Organize meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure alignment and clear understanding of project goals.
- Interface with Brands
Requirements
- +8 years of experience in a top consulting company, preferably in the consumer goods and beauty industries.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with experience managing senior leadership, influencing, and collaborating with cross-geos/functions stakeholders.
- Strategic vision and drive for results, with the ability to manage both strategic views and detailed operations. Strong curiosity and ability to think creatively to bring inspirations and share best practices from within and outside, combined with great analytical skills.
- Agility and ability to manage ambiguity, with the capacity to navigate and deliver results in matrix international environments and bring recommendations without having the full picture in hand.
