Amadeus' Hotel IT team is dedicated to designing and delivering high-performance systems that can process tens of thousands of requests per second and return the highest level of accuracy in the fastest response time. Our SaaS platforms are designed to serve millions of users who are seeking information and reservations from tens of thousands of hotels offering millions of hotel rooms around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and lead the ACRS E2E - SAFE MIGRATION team in PI/ SRM - PO and SM, E2E PI Planning.
- Represent the E2E team in the ACRS Community program and lead E2E Community Testing activities.
- Ensure the team performs at a high level by providing technical guidance and training Specialists/Senior Specialists.
- Understand how main business drivers may impact the team's area and assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity.
- Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, and lead projects or contribute to broad cross-functional projects.
Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance of test strategy with CI/CD guidelines, Green IT guidelines, and all quality guidelines (SDL, STDL), QA best practices/standards from the industry.
- Define and maintain test strategy & own the test plan for the project, product, or release.
- Develop a relationship structure between the relevant levels of decision for both Amadeus and customer organizations involved in testing.
- Accompany and support the customer during UAT for all testing matters.
- Responsible for the execution of brush tests.
- Analyze all testing requirements for internal BU or cross BU.
- Follow the results of the test campaigns performed by the QA Engineers.
- Provide the appropriate sign-off for functional, non-functional, and non-regression validations between each phase of the life cycle.
- Provide the appropriate Sign-off of releases.
- Follow-up issues and trigger actions to ensure sustainability of the product.
- Responsible for the monitoring of the software quality KPIs over the different testing phases.
- Deliver regular reports to counterparts (QA Engineers, Product Definition Analysts, and Software Development Engineers) on the evolution of the quality along the testing phases.
- Collaborate with development teams, commercial, and cross-functional test teams to prioritize requirements and streamline execution.
