Principal QA Engineer

About the Role

Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Principal QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Excellence

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Functional Excellence

  • Understand business processes and customer needs
  • Develop and maintain product domain knowledge
  • Lead customer triages and debug sessions
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality and functionality

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in internal and external forums to drive QA methodology and tooling evolution
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and implement process improvements

Building Relations and Knowledge Sharing

  • Coach and mentor junior QA engineers and software development engineers
  • Develop and maintain training programs for QA and software development teams
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and implement knowledge sharing best practices
