We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Architect (Finance Systems) to join our team at Edenred Italia S.r.l. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and transformation in our finance systems, leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a technical architecture strategy for our finance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy financial products and solutions, driving technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with senior engineering leaders and business stakeholders to influence organizational and structural changes, ensuring seamless integration of technology and business strategies.
- Partner with data architects, business architects, and other stakeholders to drive technical ideas and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and deliver design documentation, architectural metrics, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
- 10+ years of experience in software product development, preferably in the financial industry, in senior architecture and software development roles.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent work experience - advanced degree preferred.
- Good understanding of SaaS-based finance software, including deployment, customization, and integration within an enterprise environment.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the Finance domain, including familiarity with financial regulations, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies specifically in enterprise finance systems landscape.
- Demonstrated experience in setting clear technological/architectural context for business unit leadership and providing key contributions to design context.
- Track record of establishing technology sourcing directions for the product division and providing context for these decisions to the company.
- Outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision-making that considers the interests of all four key stakeholders – employees, customers, shareholders, and partners.
- Proficient in defining data domains for various Enterprise business processes with deep domain expertise on financial processes.
- Experience in making successful trade-offs that balance short and long-term product goals.
- Experience driving engineering design using Agile process to drive innovation, accelerate decisions, and outcomes while minimizing risk.
