Job Summary
Natixis is seeking a talented Risk Manager to join our Market Risk department for a 1-2 year internship. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing risks associated with our financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in annual risk reviews and limit requests;
- Analyze business plans and strategic orientations of our business lines;
- Define, review, and transform risk mandates;
- Write presentations for Risk Committees and memos for risk analysis and limit calibrations;
- Train, analyze, and escalate non-standard transactions: One-Offs, Enveloppes, Jumbo deals;
- Conduct comprehensive risk analyses (modeling, simulation of Greeks, market conditions analysis, liquidity, stress-testing…), estimate transaction complexity, and identify coverage strategies;
- Perform top-down and/or thematic analyses for management, CRM, and regulators;
- Anticipate risk management evolutions for our business lines in a changing context (e.g., market crises, one-way markets, high market shares, emergence of new indices and markets…);
- Identify stress scenarios for specific or macro risk management.
Requirements
- Student with a Bac level, preparing a university degree or engineering school with a specialization in market finance;
- Mastering the risk manager role for a derivatives desk (Equity, FX, Rates, or Credit), as well as instruments and coverage techniques;
- Knowledge of financial mathematics/risk market and programming;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and ability to work in a team and mobilize on sensitive and urgent topics;
- Fluency in English.
