Job Summary:
The successful candidate will promote our range of cardiac products to specialist doctors and/or operating theatre nurses, pharmacists, and buyers, utilizing their interpersonal skills and technical knowledge. They will train customers in the specific techniques of our products and negotiate with various stakeholders to drive sales and margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual objectives
- Negotiate with specifiers, buyers, and other stakeholders to secure deals
- Monitor and manage promotional budgets, quotations, and offers
- Organize and participate in events, conferences, and training sessions
- Train customers on our products and installation techniques
- Perform administrative tasks, including planning, expense reports, visit reports, and responding to management requests
- Participate in sales meetings and monitor customer complaints
- Stay up-to-date with scientific developments and advancements in the field
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and develop a matrix approach
- Act as an intermediary between the field and local and/or international marketing teams
- Comply with company procedures and memos, as well as Compliance rules
Requirements:
- Sales techniques and negotiation skills
- Technical product and scientific knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and tenacity
- Conversational English is a must
- Organizational skills and autonomy
- At least 3 years' scientific or commercial degree and/or at least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of operating theatres and minimum 5 years' experience in the hospital or healthcare sector, ideally in medical equipment and/or implantable devices
