The organization champions the self-determination of these individuals, ensuring that they receive tailored support that meets their unique needs.
Role Overview:
Under the supervision of management, the educator monitor plays a crucial role in executing the individualized support plan for young individuals, aligning with the overarching goals of the establishment. The responsibilities include:
- Support:
- Facilitating educational initiatives essential for meeting the objectives outlined in the individual support plan while adhering to structured educational methodologies.
- Designing and organizing educational and recreational activities aimed at enhancing the emotional, cognitive, physical, artistic, social, and civic skills of the participants.
- Assisting users in their educational and pre-professional development.
- Providing guidance and support during daily activities.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
- Engaging with various external partners involved in the care and development of the young individuals.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will hold a Monitor Educator diploma and possess a solid understanding of the medical-social landscape. They should demonstrate expertise in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions, employing dedicated educational strategies. A strong commitment to teamwork, along with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
