The Enterprise Risk Manager - Capital and Business Risk Management will be responsible for leading and driving critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables as a 2LoD opinion on governance, capital adequacy, capital planning, and capital stress testing scenarios and methodology. The role will also involve working on interactions between ICAAP/ILAAP and other strategic processes to encompass SREP requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables as a 2LoD opinion on governance, capital adequacy, capital planning, and capital stress testing scenarios and methodology.
- Work on interactions between ICAAP/ILAAP and other strategic processes to encompass SREP requirements.
- Participate in the development of the stress testing framework, ensuring compliance with Société Générale Group guidelines and working closely with 1LoD to ensure consistency with ICAAP & ILAAP frameworks.
- Challenge assumptions and decisions relating to Stress Test scenarios concerning budget, capital, and liquidity to ensure sound capital and liquidity management.
- Coordinate the annual update of the Stress Testing Framework, including Stress Testing Scenario Development and reverse stress test scenarios, and develop Ayvens' ability to review and challenge Integrated Stress Testing results.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in topics related to risk and capital management in the financial services industry, preferably in risk management or experience in audit.
- Ability to drive in autonomy key deliverables and review the calibration of the Risk Appetite indicators.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector or regulatory/supervisory guidelines.
- Experience in Capital Management projects & analysis of new regulatory frameworks would be a plus.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks including financial and non-financial risks.
- Experience in leasing activities or risk analysis for the mobility industry is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate reviews and convey complex risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
