ROLE OVERVIEW AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Senior Manager of the Vision Care Education Team within Leonardo, the EssilorLuxottica Learning platform, you will oversee a team of Vision Care Experts. Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and delivering cohesive educational programs tailored for both internal and external stakeholders, including eye care professionals (ECPs), wholesalers, and retail partners. This encompasses the creation of BtoB educational materials and resources that cover essential topics such as eye and vision care, clinical practices, and the latest advancements in ophthalmic lens technologies. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing the knowledge and expertise of various practitioner profiles, including dispensers, prescribers, sales associates, and store managers. Your efforts will align with EssilorLuxottica's product launch strategies, innovations, and educational initiatives, ensuring that local projects are supported effectively.KEY AREAS OF FOCUS AND RELATED TASKS:
Leadership and development of the education team Strategic direction and guidance Creation and continuous enhancement of interactive learning experiences and customized educational curricula for diverse audiences Contribution to the go-to-market strategy for Vision Care solutions by providing timely educational and BtoB resources Assessment of educational needs and management of innovation pipelines to meet global and regional business objectives Establishment of partnerships to ensure compliance with global and local regulations, including accreditation Definition of educational objectives from a technical, scientific, and clinical standpoint Design of engaging educational materials that stand out for Leonardo Development of comprehensive, scientifically accurate, and non-promotional educational content related to vision care and products Collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and consultants to achieve results within established guidelines and budgets Production of educational assets that align with Leonardo's brand strategy and standards Implementation of KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs Benchmarking against industry standards for optical learning programs and certifications Leveraging the latest technologies to innovate educational programs and initiativesCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated success in a managerial capacity within a dynamic and complex environment Bachelor's or Master's degree in optometry or opticianry Additional qualifications in marketing are advantageous Proven ability to manage international roles and coordinate multi-stakeholder projects in a multicultural setting Strong knowledge of education and digital learning tools (Articulate, video, LMS, etc.) and Adult Learning Principles Experience in team collaboration and managing intricate projects Proficiency in business and technical English, both written and verbal Results-driven, customer-focused, and committed to continuous improvement Positive leadership style with innovative and collaborative attributes Exceptional communication and presentation skills Proficiency in French or Italian is a plus-
