ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Senior Manager of Vision Care Education within the Leonardo platform at EssilorLuxottica, you will oversee a team of Vision Care Experts, responsible for developing, disseminating, and executing comprehensive educational programs for both internal and external stakeholders, including Eye Care Professionals (ECPs), Wholesale, and retail partners. Your focus will be on creating BtoB educational materials and resources that encompass eye and vision care, clinical practices, and ophthalmic lens technologies, ensuring the effective adoption of EssilorLuxottica's innovations by ECPs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the agenda for product launches, innovations, and local educational initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the global head of vision care education and the Leonardo team to implement the vision care strategy across the EMEA region.
- Contribute to the go-to-market strategy by delivering timely educational and BtoB resources.
- Lead and develop a team of Vision Care Education experts.
- Coordinate the creation of interactive learning experiences and tailored educational curricula for diverse audiences.
- Identify educational needs and manage innovation pipelines effectively.
- Gather educational requirements from global vision care brands and EMEA market leaders, overseeing content creation.
- Ensure the deployment of identified content in the EMEA region, providing strategic guidance and managing day-to-day operations with local teams.
- Establish partnerships to ensure compliance with global and local regulations, including academic collaborations.
- Design engaging educational assets that stand out for Leonardo.
- Provide technical expertise in the creation, review, and approval of vision care content.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver results within established guidelines, budgets, and timelines.
- Set KPIs to measure the effectiveness of educational programs and implement plans to achieve them.
- Benchmark against industry learning programs and certifications.
- Innovate by leveraging the latest technologies in the development and execution of educational initiatives.
NETWORK OF INTERACTION:
Internal: Leonardo Team, Lens Brands Marketing, Medical Marketing, R&D, Mainstream Marketing, Instruments, and regional Education and Professional Relations teams.
External: ECPs, retail partners, and key accounts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry or Opticianry; additional marketing education is advantageous.
- Proven experience in an international role, coordinating multi-stakeholder projects in a multicultural setting.
- Strong knowledge of education and digital learning tools (Articulate, video, LMS), along with Adult Learning Principles.
- Experience in managing complex projects and working effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in business and technical English, both written and verbal.
