We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Digital Engineer to join our team at Tetra Pak. As a key member of our Powder Handling portfolio, you will be responsible for the technical management of electrical, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead innovation initiatives related to electrical, automation, and digitalization, including engineering activities in product development projects, benchmarking, and technology scouting.
- Promote and implement an "Industry 4.0" mindset across our portfolio, integrating data point measurements, database management, AI, digital twin technology for data analysis and process optimization, and developing digital dashboards.
- Serve as the technical product manager for related equipment within the portfolio, ensuring safety, quality, and performance.
- Standardize electrical and automation practices across the portfolio.
- Oversee product lifecycle activities, including resolving technical issues raised by customers.
- Ensure customer feedback from all phases, including commissioning and warranty lead to continuous product improvements.
- Engage confidently with customers on the technical details of products.
- Mentor and coach others on product knowledge and expertise.
- Master's degree in digital engineering or automation engineering.
- Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
- A minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in digital/automation engineering.
- Strong knowledge and passion for digital technologies and Industry 4.0, including databases, data collection technologies, AI, and digital twins.
- Siemens and/or Rockwell programming is a plus.
- Electrical and pneumatic engineering.
- Functional safety, including safe loop calculations (Sistema or Pascal) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Familiarity with development processes, problem-solving methodologies, and FMEA.
- Insight into the dairy/food industry, production, and products.
