We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist in Financial Reporting and Accounting to join our team at XL Catlin. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our activities in the French branch of XL Insurance company.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in quarterly closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reports.
- Document technical balances and monitor the aging balance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Determine uncollectible receivables in collaboration with management teams, resolving suspense accounts and documenting specific financial processes for the French branch.
- Manage and configure the accounting interface between management software and the accounting department, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Calculate accounting restatements (IFRS to FR GAAP) for tax calculation, reviewing and restating technical provisions as needed.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation for XLICSE French branch, supporting internal and external audit processes.
- Higher education degree in Accounting and Management (DCG) or equivalent expertise in accounting (DECF).
- Significant experience (5-8 years) in tax compliance preparation or consolidation work, or experience in internal or external audit.
- Excellent mastery of Excel, with expertise in data manipulation and exploitation.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Perfect command of English, with working language proficiency (written/oral).
