Senior ROV and System Integration Engineer
Airswift is collaborating with a prominent client in the Oil and Gas sector to recruit a Senior ROV and System Integration Engineer. This role is based in a dynamic environment focused on subsea operations and will be offered on a renewable contract basis.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Offshore Industry or Naval Architecture, accompanied by at least 4 years of relevant experience in installation or operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of offshore installation processes and ROV operations.
  • Extensive experience in offshore activities, particularly in flexible and umbilical installations.
  • Willingness to travel and support operations during the execution phase as per project timelines.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document subsea ROV intervention procedures, covering:
    • ROV-operated subsea tie-in systems
    • ROV intervention tasks and access points
    • Flowline and umbilical connections with subsea structures
    • Installation of spools, jumpers, and flying leads.
  • Collaborate with simulation engineers to review and validate ROV 3D simulation access.
  • Create or assess the System Integration Test (SIT) procedures pertinent to subsea ROV interventions.
  • Engage in or lead on-site testing operations (SIT), ensuring that findings and corrective actions are addressed prior to offshore activities.
  • Participate in offshore missions as a project engineer or lead project engineer on board a vessel, typically involving one or two missions annually.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant specifications, standards, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project engineering meetings and coordinate with lead engineers to address critical issues.
  • Contribute to constructability reviews, HAZID sessions, operational readiness assessments, safety design evaluations, and design reviews related to subsea ROV interventions.
  • Identify and specify all ROV equipment and tooling necessary for the project, including the development of ROV setup diagrams and interface definitions.
  • Manage the logistics and procurement of all ROV equipment and tooling, ensuring timely delivery for project requirements.
  • Coordinate with the ROV center for support and insights on ROV intervention challenges.
