Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our team at the D.A.M.E du Roitelet center. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Your expertise will be instrumental in helping these children develop essential skills and navigate their unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the needs of each child with ASD.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific strengths and areas for growth.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to children, focusing on cognitive learning, communication, emotional expression, and social interaction skills.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals involved in the child's care to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach.
- Facilitate understanding of ASD among various stakeholders, promoting awareness and acceptance within the community.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology with a specialization in developmental psychology or child psychology.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD is essential.
- Strong understanding of current research and best practices in ASD intervention.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
