About the Role
At Worldline, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of data protection and privacy compliance across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee data protection and privacy compliance across our organization, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on data protection and privacy matters, ensuring a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and peer organizations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulatory developments, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership on data protection and privacy matters.
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the effective implementation of data protection and privacy controls.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track data protection and privacy metrics, providing insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the Group Data Protection Officer to develop and implement a global data protection strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
- Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Working experience for multinational organizations, with a strong understanding of global data protection and privacy regulations.
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
