We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team at ArcelorMittal. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a team of buyers and overseeing the procurement of maintenance and repair services.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Deploying health and safety policies and procedures
- Managing a team of buyers, including daily management, GEDP process, salary evolution, and evaluation
- Participating in HR processes, including career committee and succession planning
- Ensuring communications with stakeholders
- Defining multi-year master plans of contracts and yearly lists of projects
- Maintaining progress of projects according to plan
- Negotiating or supporting negotiation of contracts and selecting suppliers
- Managing validation and signature processes
- Monitoring spot order procurement processes
- Processing complex user claims
- Evaluating team efficiency
You will also participate in monitoring and evaluating supplier panels, informing users about contracts, defining and executing contract deployment plans, and deploying EPO improvement projects.
Your ProfileWe are looking for a candidate with a master's degree in economics, engineering, procurement, or supply chain. You should have a successful track record in procurement or engineering with about 5 years of relevant experience and people management experience.
You should have problem-solving and analytical skills, a good ease with numbers, and a strong technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems. You should also be able to discuss technical topics and implement and manage change.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong personality, leadership, and communication skills, as well as an appetite for finding information on innovative industries. You should be result-oriented and able to work under deadline pressure.
Fluency in English is required, and any additional European language is appreciated.
