Our Power Systems DCX (Digital Customer Experience) team is focused on implementing digital tools that streamline the purchasing journey. We provide our clients with a comprehensive digital interface through cloud-based applications designed for configuring medium voltage products such as distribution boards and circuit breakers.
Your Role:
As a key member of our team, reporting to the DCX Program Manager, you will be situated in a collaborative environment with a team of 25 engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to assess business workflows, foresee requirements, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement. You will conduct continuous evaluations of business processes and formulate strategies for optimization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend their objectives, needs, and challenges.
- Convert business requirements into clear and precise functional specifications for technical teams.
- Collaborate with technology teams to devise innovative solutions that address business needs.
- Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with the organization’s strategic goals and technological capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Present project findings, recommendations, and updates to diverse audiences.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project advancement and identify risks or deviations from the established plan.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
- Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- A Business Analyst certification is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical, adaptable, independent, and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience in web technology development and software platforms.
- Knowledge of the power systems domain is essential.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Fluency in both French and English.
