Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiac Regeneration

Institut Curie is a leading research institution dedicated to understanding and fighting cancer. We are seeking a highly motivated and productive postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Mechanisms of Cardiac Regeneration group.

About the Project

Our research focuses on uncovering the factors and mechanisms that allow the zebrafish heart to naturally recover and regenerate from an injury. We have developed an optimized method to maintain and image injured cardiac tissue from the adult zebrafish over an extended time period, enabling us to visualize and track live cell behaviors and their interactions in a 3D context.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct live imaging using microscopes such as laser scanning confocal, spinning disk confocal, Airy scan, multiphoton, or lattice light sheet
  • Perform image analysis using Imaris or ImageJ
  • Develop and implement custom scripts for image processing
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments
Requirements
  • PhD in biology, cell biology, genetics, or related areas
  • Experience in live imaging, image analysis, and molecular biology
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
