Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiac Regeneration

We are seeking a highly motivated and productive postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Institut Curie, Paris, France. Our research focuses on uncovering the factors and mechanisms that allow the zebrafish heart to naturally recover and regenerate from an injury.
The ProjectOur recent results have identified a number of genes that are critical for regeneration to continue. In this project, we will examine whether the identified genes and signaling pathways are also important at the protein level using mass spectrometry. Confirmed candidates will be further examined genetically using gain- and loss-of-function studies.
Requirements- PhD in biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related areas
- Expertise in generating proteomic datasets using mass spectrometry
- Experience in proximity labeling approaches such as BioID or TurboID
- Proficient in molecular biology skills such as cloning, PCR, and western blot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fixed-term contract (18 months, renewable up to 3 years)
- Full-time position
- Remuneration according to the current grids
- Collective catering, reimbursement of transportation fees up to 70%, supplementary health insurance
