We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Communard (H/F) to join our team at ecomaids of New Hyde Park-Great Neck-Port Washington. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging experience for our children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nutritious meal plans that meet the dietary needs of our children, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of food allergies and communicate with teachers to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our children.
- Collaborate with our Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies, managing inventory and ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to parents' and children's needs with a positive attitude and effective communication.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced childcare environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Food handling certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
