We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Expert to join our team at ecomaids of New Hyde Park-Great Neck-Port Washington. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging dining experience for our children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our children, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
- Food Safety and Handling: Maintain and track food allergies, communicate with teachers, and adhere to proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Inventory Management: Partner with the Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, listening and communicating effectively with parents and children.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility to meet the daily business needs of our childcare center.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Certifications: Possess a food handling certificate or ability to receive within 90 days of hire.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
