Job Description

At Edwards Lifesciences, we are committed to transforming the way physicians monitor and take preventative measures for cardio patients. Our Critical Care business unit specializes in advanced hemodynamic monitoring solutions, including artificial intelligence algorithms to provide predictive readings to clinicians, helping them get patients home to their families faster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations.
  • Provide expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure, and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation.
  • Support the development of our combined technologies, including our innovative Predictive Monitoring Technology, in the Operating Room and the ICU.
  • Run training programs for technical staff, nurses, and doctors as a fundamental part of this role.
  • Shadow clinical staff and support the use and adoption of the technology platform in the Operating Room and in the ICU.
  • Provide education and support in the adoption of Edwards Cardiac Output monitoring systems with Edwards combined technologies.
  • Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with the Sales and Sales Management teams.
  • Support and run educational seminars, both run by Edwards and other select meetings.
  • Coordinate activities and manage education with the Sales Managers and the account managers.
  • Provide physicians and medical staff with required follow-up support to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to all aspects of patient outcome.
  • Run 'train the trainer' days at the customer's location to establish internal training platforms and protocol.
  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in technical or clinical Anesthesiology or Intensivist nursing experience (IADE) in the operating room or Intensive care environment.
  • Previous experience in training and education programs.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills.
  • Be a self-motivator, passionate to succeed, and ambitious for results.
  • Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and tolerance while maintaining a clear drive to get the job done.
  • Strong communication skills in oral, written, and electronic formats.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and hunger to learn innovative technologies.
  • Capacity to understand English and be understandable.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects.
