Site Leader for Digital Transformation

Profile:

The Site Leader for Digital Transformation will assist the Offshore business CIO in overseeing the program portfolio and managing the financial aspects of digital transformation initiatives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary liaison for plant leadership and managing directors, acting as the interface with global teams and CIOs.
  2. Oversee local MyTech Experience (including Lounge) and ensure adequate support levels.
  3. Manage facility-related digital transformation topics, such as building modifications and consolidations.
  4. Propel the deployment, adoption, and utilization of strategic supply chain solutions, advocating for standards and transformation.
  5. Ensure the operation of existing solutions with visibility to comprehensive issue resolution.
  6. Guarantee site operations on both core and non-core infrastructure, including continuity planning and execution.
  7. Facilitate the rollout of digital transformation programs across all functional domains.
  8. Support the digital transformation roadmap for local business in alignment with global strategies.
  9. Drive cost reduction initiatives at the site and legal entity level.
  10. Communicate effectively regarding status, issues, budget, and risks to leadership and various levels of factory management.
  11. Act as a digital change agent, identifying and understanding capabilities being developed at the corporate level, promoting renewable energy reuse where feasible.
  12. Ensure site compliance with policies, standards, and regulations set by relevant organizations and councils.
  13. Maintain adherence to digital transformation processes, standards, and strategies.
  14. Assist the Offshore CIO in managing the program portfolio while ensuring visibility into digital transformation financials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Manufacturing.
  • Expertise in Supply Chain through business engagement, including factory value stream processes, Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and French.

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrated experience in product/project management.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing project/program management, including Solution Architecture, data architecture, software development, and GSCM operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks, such as SCRUM, with the ability to coach and mentor the GSCM digital transformation organization.
  • Awareness of emerging technology capabilities (AI, ML, IIoT, VR, AR, MR, Big Data, etc.).
  • Understanding of financial fundamentals.

Business Acumen:

  • Ability to translate ambiguous requirements and outcomes into a clear digital product strategy that enhances value creation for the business.
  • Experience in defining, implementing, and utilizing shop floor IT tools (e.g., Manufacturing Execution System, Quality, ERP, PLM, MRP, EAM), along with Lean Principles.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on outcomes.
  • Promotes new technology, anticipates trends, and influences business and digital transformation.
  • Capable of challenging the status quo and defining a more strategic approach while defending that position.
